Who is Uzal?
        U'ZAL
, the sixth son of Joktan. Gen 10:27; 1 Chr 1:21. His descendants settled in Yemen and built the city of Uzal, which from the earliest times was one of the principal towns of the country. Its name was afterward changed to "Sana," and it is now the capital of Yemen. Niebuhr describes it as a beautiful town, situated on a plateau, and resembling Damascus on account of its rippling waters and fine trees.
