What is a Boar?
        BOAR
Ps 80:13. This is the original stock of the common hog, and when hard pressed is a very furious and formidable animal. The wild boar is found throughout Europe and the neighboring Wild Boar (After Tristram) parts of Africa and Asia. Travellers tell us that it is found in great numbers on the banks of the Jordan, among the reeds BOA BOO of the Sea of Tiberias, and generally among the thickets of the Holy Land. In some districts wild boars are so destructive to the vineyards and crops that it is necessary at times to keep nightly watch against them. -- Hartley:Researches in Greece, p. 234.
