Geb was the earth god; father of Osiris; represented with a goose on his head. Nut (Goddess of the heavens) was consort of Geb. Osiris (God of the underworld and judge of dead) was son of Geb and Nut.
A three-god tableau portrays creation. Re, solar father of Nut, the sky,
decides to put a stop to her continual embracing of Geb, the earth. Re slips Shu, the god of air, between them, thus making space. But Nut managed to have
children, including Osiris.
