Kedemoth (beginnings), one of the towns in the district east of the Dead Sea allotted to the tribe of Reuben, Jos 13:18 given by the Merarite Levites. Jos 21:37; 1Ch 6:79 It possibly conferred its name on the "wilderness," or uncultivated pasture land, "of Kedemoth." Nu 21:33; De 2:26,27 etc. |
