Ancient Troas

Painted sketch of Troas. Troas was located on the coast of the Aegean Sea in the area south of ancient Troy. It was a maritime city of Mysia in the north-west part of Asia Minor. It is mentioned several times in the Bible, and was visited by Paul the Apostle. It was in Troas that Paul restored a disciple named Eutychus back to life. The city is now in ruins.
