Quotes About the Bible and History

William Sanford LaSor

Origin Of Languages

"It is not unreasonable to suppose that all the languages of the Hamitic, Semitic, and Aryan peoples are originally derived from a common origin.

Studies in Hamitico-Semitic linguistics seem to indicate rather convincingly that these two families are related, and some bold studies in Indo-European relationships to the Semitic languages have produced evidence that seems to lead to a similar conclusion."

William Sanford LaSor, "Ephocal Events in the Bible" Syllabus (Pasadena, CA: Fuller Theological Seminary) p. 97
