Although most of the kings of the southern kingdom followed after the ways of
the kings of Israel and worshipped idols, a few of them were good and served
the true God. Some brought revival into Judah and great reformations followed.
Yet for the most part Judah continued to fall farther into idolatry in spite
of all of the warnings from the prophets. They practiced Baal worship and the
other Canaanite religions until they were completely corrupt.
