dungeon Jeremiah was cast (Jeremiah 38:6). Jerahmeel also is
called "son of Hammeleeh" or "the king" (Jeremiah 36:26), and
Joash (1 Kings 22:26), and Maaseiah (2 Chronicles 28:7).
Therefore the title is official, one of the royal family,
exercising some of the royal prerogative.

Malchiah in Wikipedia
Malchiah or Melchiah was a figure mentioned in the Bible, in
the Book of Jeremiah, Chapter 21, Verse 1.
Melchiah was a priest in the kingdom of Zedekiah, and the
father of Pashur, the messenger who was charged with taking a
message from the King to Jeremiah asking for God's
intervention in the war against Nebuchadnezzar.
