Doctrinal Statement
Mission Statement
I BELIEVE that the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are verbally
inspired of God and are without error as originally written, and that they are the
authoritative Word of God; the only infallible rule of faith and practice for
the Christian life.
I BELIEVE in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit, and we believe that these three are co-eternal and of equal dignity
and power.
I BELIEVE in the deity of Jesus Christ; His miraculous conception by the Holy
Spirit; His virgin birth; His sinless, perfect life; His vicarious and
substitutionary death through the shedding of His blood on the Cross of Calvary; His
bodily resurrection for our justification; His ascension to the right hand of the
Father; His present ministry as High Priest and Advocate; and His personal and
imminent return, "Our blessed hope;" and we believe that all things shall
finally be subjected to Him.
I BELIEVE that man was created by and for God; that by disobeying God, he
(every person) became a sinner and thereby incurred spiritual death which is
separation from God, and physical death as a consequence; and that all the human race
are born in sin and are sinners by nature and practice.
I BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the
scriptures, as a vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in
Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood.
I BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit indwelling all believers
and thus enabling and empowering the life and ministry of the Christian.
I BELIEVE in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the everlasting
blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost.
