About the Map of Paul's Second Missionary Journey
Follow the green numbers on the clickable map and trace the cities that were
visited in the Second Missionary Journey of Paul and his companions.
The cites which they visited are in beige and the regions are in orange.
Note: The date of their departure was about 51 A.D. and it lasted nearly three years.
Matthew 16:18 "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Jesus promised that He would build His church and that the "gates of Hades" would not prevail against it. Paul had set out this second time, around 51 A.D. to re-visit those churches that he had help to establish. He was very aware that it was not his responsibility to plant the churches, or to maintain and protect them, but that he was just an instrument in Godís eternal purposes.
